Philosophica is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to cutting-edge research on all areas of the history of philosophy. It aims at fostering high-quality articles, both exegetical and critical, that contribute to the renewal or progression of the study of topics, authors and schools from Ancient and Medieval to Contemporary Philosophy. The journal publishes articles in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French on a non-profit basis. It is now published by the Philosophy Documentation Center.

  • Philosophica is currently sponsored by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (UIDP/00310/2020). Established as Philosophica: Revista do Departamento de Filosofia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, the journal has been reorganized with a wider international focus.
