Society for the Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts (SPSCVA)
The Society for the Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the philosophic discussion of film and the contemporary visual arts. It sponsors presentations at its divisional sessions, held in conjunction with meetings of the American Philosophical Association, and publishes the journal Film and Philosophy.
The Philosophy Documentation Center provides membership and publishing services for the Society. Dues payments, renewals, and online access to the journal can be managed on this site.
Membership includes online access to Film and Philosophy and a print copy of the current issue. More information about the Society is available at www.spscva.net.
