The aim of the present paper is to present psychological aspects of an individual features’ assessment on the basis of the individual’s cognitive representation of his social and professional role. Central information categories are a adopted as the main determinants. Their influence is double: 1. Central information categories are more general than the assessed information which is valued according to the background information provided by the former. 2. They represent critical parameters of environment or of intrasubjective states.The central categories are divided into two types:1° situational central categories, ie in the case of the role of profession, information about typical behaviour, interpersonal relations and their properties.2° relatively constant categories which are cognitive representations of needs.In the present paper, theoretical assumptions are verified empirically: the author studies the differences between the assessment of certain features under valuation in relation to the following imaginary persons: superior, subordinate, associate and friend. The features are listed according to their content in relation to the following property categories: rationality, dynamics, discipline and safty- -needs, affiliation and regard. The examinants assessed the features with relation to the role of individual professions in a seven-grade scale of importance. The analyses of the tests have shown significant differences among the respective roles: rationality, discipline and dynamics at work are valued least in the case of the friend. Dynamics and rationality are mostly expected in the case of the superior. Discipline has been valued most in the case of the subordinate and associate. Affiliation and safty-needs have been assessed highest with regard to the friend and the associate respectively, this being significantly different from the superior and subordinate.The results of the tests agree with the hypotheses put forward on the basis of theoretical assumptions concerning the central categories* influence on features’ assessment/

The aim of the present paper is to analyse behavioural elements belonging to non-sensorial factors in perception. The analysis is made within the framework of the signals’ detectability theory.In the first stage of research, confidence rating procedure was developed into a three-threshold pay-off matrix method which, as a more precise one, made it possible to obtain not only several simultaneous thresholds of response but also simultaneous changes in the value of the given thresholds resulting from changes in motivational factors. Apart from that, the method facilitated a more accurate, and, above all, measurable control of decision thresholds. Thus, with decision processes in the focus of attention, the author elaborated Bayes’ expected value maximization method in addition to the three-threshold matrix procedure. The Bayes’ method made it possible to introduce four optimum intervals of observation for each category and optimum thresholds of response pi (i=l, 2, 3). It also constituted the datum in the analysis of decision thresholds obtained during experiments. Next, several psycho-acoustic experiments for two symmetrical and one non-symimetrical three-threshold matrixes were carried out. The empirical data obtained helped to observe shifts in empirical thresholds of response appearing in accordance with each matrix. The shifts manifested the changes in the frequency of application of given categories. Therefore, attention was given to the relation between the combination of values and costs of a given three-threshold matrix for a given action and the confidence rating scale and the frequency of the choice of that action.The analysis of the frequency of choice of given actions made according to different matrixes showed the importance of the role of possible loss value in the organization of perception during the action performed. That was demonstrated best in the case of non-symmetrical matrix where the effect of symmetrically in the observers’ decisions was obtained.The results of empirical tests presented in the study should be treated as preliminary hypotheses of which each can become the subject of individual experimental analysis.

Man’s association of various colours with objects in his environment undoubtedly results from his intention to exert influence on the psychological state of his own or other people’s. However, our knowledge about the rules governing human reactions to the colour is very limited.The present paper deals with the problem of correlations holding between personality characteristics and the kind of reaction to the colour. Its aim is to answer the question of whether there is any interdependence between the level of anxiety and the person’s reaction to the colour.A modified Lüscher’s method was used to examine colour preference; the level of anxiety was assessed on the basis of Cattell’s The I.P.A.T. Anxiety Scale. Testing included only students from higher schools in Lublin. It has been concluded that people with a high level of anxiety tended to choose dark colours more often; their determination to reject bright colours was significantly greater than with the people of an average level of anxiety. More anxioused people often chose cold colours and rejected warm ones. These interdependencies have not been known so far.Although the method applied in the present study cannot substitute Cattell's test, it can, however, be used as an additional method, or, because of its simplicity, it can be used as a method which serves to supply preliminary information about the psychological state of the person under examination.

This paper presents a study whose starting point is the hypothesis that there is an interdependence between the image of God and the image of father. It is based on the bibliography and the present state of research into the problem. This general, working hypothesis made it possible to put forward some more detailed hypotheses which have been tested empirically:1. There is an interdependence between the image of God and the image of real father and ideal father, with young people having „good” and „bad” fathers.2. The children who have „good” fathers create a more positive image of God for themselves than the young who have „bad” fathers.3. The image of real father has greater influence on the process of creation of the image of God in the case of boys than in the case of girls.In order to verify the above hypotheses experimentally, two groups of young people have been tested: 1. the young having „good” fathers, 2. the young with „bad” fathers.The aim of the tests was to grasp the dependencies between the connotational meaning of such concepts like „father”, „God”, and „ideal father”. Osgood’s semantic differential, with which emotional, connotational meaning of concepts is measured, was used.The psychometric and psychological analysis of the results has led to the following conclusions:1. There is a statistically significant difference between the evaluation of the image of God made by the young having „good” fathers and the evaluation of the image of God made by the young having „bad” fathers. The young who have „good” fathers create a more positive image of God than those who have „bad” fathers.2. There is a very close correlation between the evaluation of the image of God and the evaluation of the image of real father in the case of the young having „good” fathers.3. The boys with „bad” fathers have a more negative image of God than the girls who have „bad” fathers.That means that it is boys and not girls who associate their image of real father with the image of God. The results of the tests confirm the hypotheses formed previously. Thus, it seems that the image of father has a significant part to play in the formation of the image of God by young people, the emotional relations between the child and the father being transferred into the image of God.

In diesern Artikel handelt sich um die wichtigsten Richtungen in der Tiefenpsychologie, die sich bemüht haben das Problem der Werthierarchie und des Gewissens zu lösen, nämlich: die Psychoanalyse, die Individualpsychologie, die analytische Psychologie so wie auch die Daseins, Existenz und die personale Analyse.Wenn es um die Psychoanalyse geht, dann wirft sie auf der moralischen Ebene mehrere schwierige Fragen auf, die man nicht auf einem empirischen Wege beantworten kann. Die Ethik könnte man in der Auffassung Freuds als narzistische Liebe verstehen die vom Ich izum Ich-Ireal fortschreit. Werte die mit der Religion verbunden sind, sind in der Auffassung Freuds höchstens ein Abwehrmechanismus. Das Über-Ich (Gewissen) hat kein Wertsystem, nach dem es das Gute und das Böse unterscheiden konnte.Wenn es um die Individualpsychologie geht, so stellt der Verfasser fest, das diese Richtung versucht nicht eine kausale sondern eine finale Erklärung zu geben. Die Individualpsychologie ist viel mehr mit der Wertproblematik verbunden als Freuds Psychoanalyse. Leider, die Anpassungsfähigkeit an die Gemeinschaft verachtet letztlich die Würde der Person. Der Mensch ist „gut”, wenn er anpassungsiähig ist. Ein System, in dem die Gemeinschaft über But und Böse entscheidet, kann schnell zum Totalitarismus führen.In der analytischen Psychologie kommt die Problematik bes Gewissens und der Werthierarchie in die Nähe des Religiosen. Doch in Jungs Antworten zu religiösen Problemen und zu Glaubensfragen der Christen steht immer zugleich die Aufforderung zur Verwirklichung im eigenen Leben, Christus als Kerygma bleibt für ihn nur eine psychische Realität.Die Wertethik, die sich besonders mit dem Problem vom Gut und Bose be- schaftigt, ist nach der Meinung C. G. Jung ein Produkt der hochdifferenzierten Fiihlfunktion. In der analytischen Psychologie gibt es iiberhaupt keine Normen, nach denen man das Gute und das Bose unterscheiden kann. Im Grunde genommen muss sich das Gewissen an das Werturteil des Kollektivs anpassen.Die Daseinsanalyse will dem Menschen ermöglichen auch seine religiosen Weltzuge zur vollen Entfaltung zu bringen, doch man weiss nicht wie man die Religion in der Daseinsanalyse verstehen soll. Das umso weniger, weil für Binswanger das Höchste in der Werthierarchie nicht Gott ist, sondern der sich in seiner Lebensführung realisierende Mensch.Die Existenzanalyse hingegen betont eindeutig, dass Gett die letzte Instanz ist von dem der Mensch verantwortlich sei. Der Verfasser fügt hinzu, dass die Existenzanalyse eine logische Werthierarchie aufgebaut hat, an deren Spitze Gott steht. Welche Verbindung aber dieser Gott mit der Person des Menschen hat, kann uns die Existenzanalyse nicht sagen. Deshalb bleibt auch fraglich, ob dieser Gott für das personale Gewissen die richtige und die einzige Instanz ist, wie das Franki haben möchte.Absolutes, Werthierarchie und Neurose — das ist die Problematik, die sich in vielen Publikationen der personalen Analyse I. A. Caruso überlagert. Nach der Kritik der Voraussetzungen der personalen Analyse, schliesst der Verfasser seinen Artikel mit der Schlussfolgerung dass das Problem, nach welchen Kriterien das personale Gewissen das Gute und das Böse unterscheiden soll, bleibt in der ganzen Tiefenpsychologie offen, einfach deshalb, weil die Antwort nicht in ihrer Kompetenz liegt.

The author adapted Gunzburg’s PAC-2 instrument for assessing social competence and constructed the Individual Chart which was supplemented with a conversion key to transform chart data into variables assessed on a four-interval scale. The number of people under examination was 700. The total number of variables used was 71. Personal variables included psychophysical development, cognitive functioning, emotional-motivational sphere and psychosocial functioning. Environmental variables included family, boarding house and school for mentally handicapped.The programme of the multianalysis had two parts. In part I, two subgroups were contradistinguished out of the set of PAC-2 scores: a) below the level of standard deviation, b) above the level of standard deviation. Next, the differences in thescores of the variables were sought (%2). In part II, two contrasting subgroups, with variable assessment 1 and 4 were selected. Differences among the PAC-2 see res for these two subgroups were sought (t).The study originated a new view on mental deficiency, based not on a description of the reduced functions (a diagnostic approach) but on the variables conditioning social competence (a rehabilitation-starting-point approach, prorehabili- tational approach). The view made it possible to direct attention not to the defects but rather to the factors which can influence the effectiveness of the process of social rehabilitation.From among the variables concerning the mentally handicapped, the following were most significant: psychophysical development — general representation, motor functions, level of education in a school for mentally handicapped, cognitive functions — general representation, sense organs, age, emotional-motivational sphere — general representation, diseases and accidents, or lack of these, interests, ease in expressing one’s feelings.From among the variables concerning the environment of the mentally handicapped, the following stood out: specialists employed in the school for mentally handicapped, mother’s place of residence, place of birth of the person under examination, educational situation in the boarding house for mentally handicapped, financial standing of the family, educational equipment at the school for mentally handicapped, ability to use the funds of the boarding house for mentally, handicapped, additional training courses at the school for mentally handicapped, living at home, not at the boarding house for mentally handicapped, ralations with the family.The analyses concerned not only the new view on the prorehabilitational approach to the problem of mental deficiency; they showed which of the variables should be given importance in order that the process for social rehabilitation of mentally handicapped could become more effective.

On the occasion of his 70th birthday W. Sedlak makes an account of time and matter, the subject of his research. It is not only accouning for his own life; the circumstances as well as certain intellectual predispositions and also the awareness of the fact that a synthesis is necessary with decided empirism and with the supply of expensive mini-information on tinnier and tinnier fragments of Nature, all pointed to the synthesis as a new task for the scholar.The primary difficulty of the synthesis lies in the necessity of interdisciplinary education, which, if constantly developed, creates the dilemna of how to plan your time properly. The scholar also needs courage and some creative intuition to achieve his aim — the synthesis. The empirist’s results are not liable to be questioned if the methods applied in his analyses are appropriate. The synthesist is alwyas an object of criticism. However, only natural facts are not open to question; it is their interpretation that can be debatable. During the work on a new scientific synthesis one often cannot help questioning a myth or legend maintained as a result of dubious knowledge or erroneous convictions. The new synthesis often runs counter to traditional beliefs.Biology seems to be particularly backward in this respect mainly because of the fact that it lacks fundamental definitions of life and of man’s consciousness. Thus, it is left with conceptions and as the history of science proves it has always been hard to change them.The author finds himself creating biological synthesis, which is a particularly unusual situation. Here are the results of his endeavours:1. silicon dominated during the early stages of the development of life. It was superceded by carbon. Traces at that occurrence preserved as the Si-Ca relation. In this way a new discipline — palaebiochemistry of silicon — originated.2. bioelectronics as a complementary to biochemistry outlook on life has its consequences in the far-reaching conclusions including the one on the electromagnetic nature of life and consciousness. Both fields created the basis for palaeobiophysics which, being a new field of learning, is the subject of the author’s interests.3. quartzite strata of the Świętokrzyskie mountains are fossil environment of the Cambrian period or possibly even cilder basdn occuring in the western edge of easterneuropean plate. In this area the author found so far unknown Coralli- cyathida and megascopic algae. Both plants required a siliceous environment.The next task the author occupies himself in iis to make a synthesis of several other syntheses within the field of biological sciences as long as the facts require that, even if it were in defience of the bounding schemes.The author’s account of his research does not provide an explanation of how many questions have been already answered, nonetheless much work in this field has been done so far.

The phenomenon of life has aroused interest of mankind since the early period of civilization. In spite of numerous efforts to coin the definition of the phenomenon, nobody has succeeded to offer a generally acceptable one.It has been well established that life is a function of the environment. One of the most abundant elements occurring in the environment is silicon. This fact provides an important argument for the enthusiasts of the silicon-based biogenesis. Both quartz and some silicates has been postulated to act as a matrix on which the synthesis of organic compounds could be accomplished in Nature. According to Sedlak’s theory of silicides (i.e. organisms purported to show enhanced requirements for silicon), primary life forms on the Earth were based on silicon compounds rather than on carbon ones. Later, when silicides became more and more disharmonic in relation to the increasing salinity of world ocean, inclusion of carbon into the siliceous forms contributed to their peculiar rejuvenation. The evolutional feature of the theory of silicides has been emphasized and the author’s views on its heuristic aspects have been expressed.

Total anatomic and functional integration in multicellular organisms is gua- ranted by the ground substance of intercellular space. The volume and composition of the ground substance influence a rate, quantity and quality of transporting materials between body fluids and cells. Among the constituents of the ground substance the glycosaminoglycans (GAG) store large electric charge due to presence of -OSO3” groups, display helical conformation, relatively high metabolic turnover and mechanoelectrical properties, and bind water and ions Na, K, Ca. Owing to these properties of GAG the ground substance could be a guard of homeostasis in organisms in respect to natural mechanical and aerokinetic stresses.The conservation of homeostasis may be realized according to principle Fa Fb/Fc=k, where Fa denotes variable force of air pressure, Fb denotes a mechanical resistence of tissues including ground substance, Fc denotes a hydrodynamic force of circulating body fluids and „k” is constant Fa change of a type ΔFa/Δt requires of an appropriate Fb or Fc change of type ΔFb/Δt or ΔFc/Δt, respectively to maintain constant ,,k”. Fc force is realted to circulation dynamics of body fluids. The adjustement of Fb force is guaranted by quantitative and qualitative changes in the ground substance what is indicated by an elevation of urinary GAG output during augmentation of air pressure and by diminition of urinary GAG output durisg decreasing air pressure. Such response of the gronud substance is somewhat delayed in respect to initial change of air pressure and it is maintained for some period necessary for the adaptation of an organism to the direction of air pressure change. The described principle makes possible interpretations of various physiological and pathological phenomena in human beings.

The author attempts to reconstruct the mechanism of Hominid evolution with quantum anthropology as its starting point. Quantum anthropology was first presented by W. Sedlak during the Conference of Polish Anthropology Society in Warsaw in 1979. The application of the theses from bioelectronics to the interpretation of human evolution leads to the necessity of studing geophysical factors, especially geomagnetic and geoelectric fields. The Tertiary and Quaternary periods adduce good evidence of geomagnetic changes. In the field of palaeontology the geomagnetic factor is considered crucial for the proces of extinction of systematic groups. It seems right to consider it a significant factor in the inducement of evolutionary changes including the evolutionary changes of man.The newest research into local centres of superconductivity in biosystems with Josephson’s junctions seems to confirm the specific reaction of living matter to changes of geomagnetic fields. In quantum reactions, which are in the domain of bioelectronics, there is no difference between life and consciousness conceived of as an ability to receive any information with accompanying change of the behaviour of the chemical-electronic system. The recently recorded influence of microwaves on the brain behaviour might be a justification of the suggestion that the process of celebralization and particularly the process of differentiation of neocohtex architectonics with Hominiids took place under the influence of changes in geomagnetic and geoelectric fields in the Quaternary. The process continues with a technical increase of electromagnetic environment.With life and consciousness identity in the world of quantum values and. also with an exceptional sensitivity to magnetic fields as the starting points the author puts forward a new concept of electromagnetic homoestasis, namely electromagnetostasis (EM-stasis). EM-stasis disturbances would also be the basis of physiologically non-defined psychosomatics. The mutual relations between the psyche and the organism would be better understood if based on EM-stasis disturbances.

A philosophical analysis of the bioelectronic concept of life is the subject of the present paper. The merits of the concept are estimated by biophysicists and biologists but from the philosophical point of view the merits of this concept are not estimated because the concept itself is not philosophical. Within natural philosophy one can only analyse the philosophical implications and consequences of this concept. The material gathered for such analyses comes from all fields of learning. Hence, the author directs his attention to four implications:1. the range and the competence of bioelectronics in elucidating the nature of life.2. cognitive value of the model applied.3. the border-line between life and death.4. definition of life.The paper, however, does not exhaust the above implications, although the author analyses them, but defends the suppositions on the world of life enunciated in the fields of other disciplines. However, the leading idea is to substantiate the opinion that the bioelectronic theory of life concerns only some aspects of the problem and that it does not assume a direct attitude towards analogous theories. Apart from that, the theory is based on the controversial concept of reductionism

Comparison of physical and biological laws can be made on various planes of cognition. The author’s primary concern is the issue of methodological nature, namely the issue on whether it is possible to attribute the standing of scientific laws to the principles and laws of biology in the same measure as to physical laws. To solve thiis problem the author firsit presents the criteria required to assent general theorems as physical laws. These are the following: 1. syntactic criterion, 2. explanatory and prognostic function of the laws, 3. authenticity of contrafactual conditional sentences, 4. attachment of the laws to the system.The author comes to the following conclusions: natural scientists, being unable to define the exact formulations of biological laws, often identify the regularity of biological phenomena and processes with biological laws. Contrary to physico-chemical sciences, where the discovered dependencies between variable features assume the form of functional laws, biological sciences are forced to become satisfied with statistical laws which define the correlation of the variable features.Since animated nature is only a fragment of the universe biological laws can not be extrapolated beyond the biosphere. Thus, the range of the applicability of biological laws is uncomparably smaller than of physical laws. Biological laws usually have the following formula (expressed in the metasystem language), ’’within the bounds of certain area of space and time it is true that ...”. Hence, it is concluded that biological laws do not confirm contrafactual conditional sentences, since their generality is accidental.As a matter of fact, many biological laws have explanatory function, however, explication of the phenomena and processes in animater nature by means of these laws is far from being precise which is typical of explication by means of physical laws. Similarly, biological laws and particularly evolutional ones can not be the basis of univacal prognosing. They neither meet the 4th criterion since so far there is not one biological theoretic system. fThe fact that biological laws do not meet all the criteria of scientific laws does not contradict a limine of the scientific nature biological laws. Instead, it reguires application of new additional conditions according to which general biological theorems are recognized as scientific laws in regard to the specific character of biological processes and phenomena.

The paper is a preliminary attempt of a comparative analysis of systems ontology and natural philosophy. Therefore, the author characterizes the philosophical aspects of a general theory of systems in respect of their subject matter and underlines ontological elements in the theory. Some controversial opinions on the ontological character of the systems trend ware presented as examples. After the presentation of current concepts of natural philosophy, it is stated that ontology in its current form can not be recognized as a natural^ philosophy in any of its present versions. It might be only a specific natural philosophy or at least an introduction to that. However, then it would be necessary to work out some methods of philosophical analysis and to point out its subject and aims in orćfer that the research were not a certain generalization of detailed empirical and operational systems analyses. The problem, however, remains open.

The paper is an attempt to point out to the sources of the difference of opinion on the development of science and to determine the problems pertaining to the dynamic aspect of empirical theory.The preliminary specification of the concepts of development and the concepts of empirical theory revealed that various concepts of development depend on the type of theory characteristics (genetic, structural, functional types) and on the degree to which the outward basis of the theory is taken into account (methodological, epistemological, ontological, axiological bases) as well as on the other facts of cultural and historical character.

The paper presents the concepts of de Morgan algebra and two of its interpretations: set and logical. The former refers to the theory of fuzzy sets, the latter to fuzzy logic. Both interpretations are complements to the functional interpretation of de Morgan algebra. The functional interpretation can also be treated as de Morgan algebra.The author notes that de Morgan algebra, together with its interpretations, constitutes a significant generalization of Boolean algebra, with its two basic interpretations: set (sets in Cantorian sense) and logical (two-valued logic). The set, in classical (Cantorian) sense, is a particular instance of fuzzy set; similarly, the two-valued propositional calculus is a particular example of fuzzy logic.

The path of CO2 diffusion from the environment to the carboxylation site in chloroplasts is divided into several segments; the resistance to diffusion in them being determined separately. Most studies carried out so far, as it has been fairly widely presented in this paper, have dealt with the resistance of the cuticule, mesophyll, stomatal and of the so-called carboxylation resistance.Great differences occurring in the resistance depend on the climatic conditions of the growing plant, its actual state, age, species or even genotype. Light intensity is one of the major factor modifying the resistance to diffusion.It has not been possible, however, to find a simple correlation between the changes in the resistance to C02 diffusion and those in photosynthesis values associated with increasing light intensity. It is likely that in some cases photosynthesis is regulated directly by changing resistance to diffusion. There are many reports on simultaneous change in Ames/A, on the ratio of fresh weight of the leaf ,to its surface, on chlorophyll content per unit leaf area and on the activity of photosystems. These changes modified by light intensity can be the main causes of changes in photosynthetic efficiency.

Der Mensch ist allzu „anders" und „höher" als alles andere um ihn herum in der sichtbaren Welt, als dass man dieses nicht wahrnehmen, nicht erkennen oder nicht erfahren mag. Daher bildet die Formel „Die menschliche Person ist für sie allein zu affirmieren" (Persona est affirmanda propter seipsam) lediglieh den gedanklichen Ausdruck und die sprachliche Fixierung dessen, wer der Mensch ist, sowie dessen. wie er sich vergegenwaärgt und sich selbst sowie dem anderen Menschen erscheint Diese Formel ist mit anderen Worten ein Ausdruck und eine Fixierung der menschlichen Erfahrung im Aspekt seines Wertes, der auch die persönliche Würde genannt wird.Diese Wahrnehmung des „anders" und „höher" des Menschen ist notwendig und genügt nicht nur, um die These zu formulieren: „Die menschliche Person ist für sie allein zu affirmieren". sondern auch, um ihr das ethische Hauptprinzip und zugleich die Begründung des sittlich regelmaßigen Verhältnisses des menschlichen Willens gegenüber dem Menschen (dem anderen Menschen und gegenüber sich selbst) zu erkennen, d.h. um die sittlich eigene Stellung und Absicht (bene-volentia) des sittlichen Wirkens zu gestalten Die Wahrnehmung des „anders" und „höher" bildet daher die experimental oder von der bekannten Philosophie, Religion. Weltanschauung unabhängige Basis für den effektiven interphilosophischen und interkonfessionellen Dialog im Namen der Affirmation der personalen Würde des Menschen.Um jedoch dieser Stellung und dieser Absicht einen richtigen und effektiven Ausdruck in der Wirkung zu geben, muss man darüber hinaus die gegenständliche Struktur des Affirmierten erkennen. d.h. zur objektiven Wahrheit über den Menschen durchdringen. Nur eine auf diese Weise mit guter Absicht motivierte Tat kann eine effektiv gute Tat für den Adressaten (bene-ficentia) oder eine sittlich richtige Tat werden.Die Erkenntnis der objektiven Wahrheit über den Menschen ist die wirkliche Aufgabe der Anthropologie. Das betrifft auch die Erkenntnis der Wahrheit dessen, was für den Menschen sachlich gut ist. Was für den Adressaten dieser Tat sachlich gut ist, kann natürlich - doch muss überhaupt nicht - dem gleich sein, was ihm selber (dem Affirmierenden oder dem Affirmierenden und dem Affirmierten zugleich) gut zu sein scheint. Daher bildet die Wahrheit über die objektive ontisch-axiologische Personenstruktur und der Wille zur Erkenntnis dieser Wahrheit durch die affirmierende Person den Test einer Authentizität der guten Intention (Haltung) des Handelnden und erscheint als unabdingliches Bindeglied zwischen der Deklaration einer propersonalen Haltung (bene-volentia) und ihrem effektiven Ausdruck und der Verwirklichung in der Tat (bene-ficentia). Redliche Wahrheitserkenntnis über den Menschen dagegen oder Anthropologie (im weiteren Sinne dieses Wortes) wachst zur Rolle eines unersetzlichen Kettengliedes, das in eine Ganzheit das ethische Hauptprinzip („allgemeine Ethik") und ihre einzelnen inhaltlichen Determinationen oder die näher bestimmten Weisen einer Verwirklichung in der Tat, die sogenannten umständhehen oder billigkeitsfähigen ethischen Normen („eingehende Ethik") zusammenfasst. Auf diese Weise wurde dank der Anthropologie die objektive Wahrheit über die ontische Struktur des Menschen und der daraus erwachsenen Hierarchie der Güter oder Werte (ordo bonorum) zum objektiven Mass und Kriterium der redlichen Affirmation der Person, d.h. der Liche in der Tat. der tätigen Liebe (ordo amoris) Die sittlichen Einzelnormen sind also ausschließlich normativer Exponent (Übertragung) der durch die Anthropologie veröffentlichten Wahrheit über den Menschen und als solche erfüllen sie die Rolle von Kriterien des Affirmierens des Menschen im Handeln, indem man den Menschen vor den Wirkungen sichert, die ihn nur scheinbar, wenn auch in guter Absicht (guten Widens) und Liebe affirmieren.Man muss Anthropologie in der obengenanntcn Bedeutung von der Anthropodoxie unterscheiden. Ziemlich verbreitet ist jetzt die Anschauung, dass das Ich, entweder als individuelles Subjekt oder ais Gruppensubjekt (Gemeinwesen), entweder seine eigene Natur konstituiert oder sich als „Selbstverständnis" bezeichnet. Die „Natur” ist ein Korrelat des „Selbstverständnisses”. Das ist ein Beispiel des Reduzierung des menschlichen Seins (être) zum menschlichen Schein (paraître), ähnlich in seinem Mechanismus der Form des menschlichen Reduzierens des „esse” zum „percipi”. Was das Personalismusprinzip betrifft, führt das zur Änderung der Personaffirmation „für sie selbst” zur Personaffirmation „für ihre Sicht ihrer selbst” (für ihr „es dünkt mich”). Das bedeutet eine Isolierung des Hauptprinzips der Ethik von ihrem Wesenskern und das Hinterlassen ihrer nur äusseren Formel. in die man dann „Selbstverständnisse” einzelner Individuen oder Sozialgruppen hineinlegen kann. Das Aufeinanderwirken von zwei oder mehreren Personen, die die Bedingung der Akzeptation ihrer eigenen „Selbstverständnisse” erfüllen, wird, wenn die Dinge so stehen, als „objektiv gut” vom sittlichen Standpunkt her geschaut und zugleich sittlich ganz recht unabhängig von ihrem Inhalt. So kann man als Liebe nicht nur anerkennen. was nur ihr Schein ist. sondern geradezu dem Antihumanismus unter der Losung des Personalismus oder im Namen der Ethik den Weg bahnen.Auf welche Weise kann man zu einem wahren Menschenbild gelangen? Wo kann wahre Anthropologie beginnen und worauf kann sie bauen? Von nun an ist das eine Leitfrage für die Ethik.Vor allem ist das eine Tatsache, derer Wirklichkeit nicht zu leugnen ist. dass wer immer der Mensch auch wäre, er der ist, der er ist. wenn er überhaupt existiert, sowie dass er gelegentlich existiert. Der Mensch musste nicht zum Vorschein kommen, und obwohl er tatsächlich ist, muss er nicht sein. Er könnte auch nicht sein Sein Dasein verdankt er nicht sich selbst Es fliesst nicht aus seinem inneren Wesen. Der Mensch existiert, weil das Dasein ihm gegeben worden ist. Er ist, weil er eine Gabe ist Also folglich, das was er ist, muss er sein - und ist er auch - als Gabe. Das ist eine Gabe dessen, dem der Mensch endgültig auch das verdankt, dass er existiert. Als Anerkennung dieser elementaren Tatsache bildet die unbestreitbare Grundlage des Sehens des Menschen in der Wahrheit. also die Grundlage des Zeichnens seines „wahren Bildnisses”, also die Bedingung der Unterscheidung einer authentischen Anthropologie von den Meinungen oder sogar Phantasien zum Thema des tätigen Menschen oft unter diesem Namen und schliesslich die Bedingung sine qua non der wirklichen und nicht nur scheinbaren Affirmation des Menschen im Handeln, der Liebe in der Tat.Es ist unmöglich. die Wichtigkeit dieser Tatsache für die Bezeichnung der Grenze zu überschätzen, unter die man absolut nicht mehr heruntersteigen kann noch darf, wenn man im allgemeinen sinnvoll ein Prinzip der Affirmation der menschlichen Person „für sie selbst” und nicht „für ihr Es-scheint-mir” stützen will. Im Lichte der Tatsache der menschlichen Zufälligkeit ist nämlich schon der Versuch, dem Menschen - im wesentlichen beliebig „schöpferische” - Erkenntnismacht zur Konstituierung seiner Natur zuzuschreiben, ein Verrat an der Wahrheit über den Menschen. d.h. ein Akt der Anti-Affirmation des Menschen, und das bereits auf der Ebene seiner Theorie. Es ist nämlich ein Versuch, ihm ein Attribut zuzurechnen, das er nur dann besitzen dürfte, wenn er ein soleher wäre, der er nicht ist und nicht sein kann. namlich Schöpfer seiner selbst, schöpferischer Akt seines eigenen Daseins. Diese Illusion, die man dem Menschen leicht einreden kann. denn sie schmeichelt seiner Eitelkeit. fällt die Tatsache seiner Zufälligkeit Im Lichte dieser Tatsache kann eine Selbststerkenntnis nicht auf dem selbstbewussten Erschaflen seiner selbst, sondern auf dem selbstbewusstem Sich-selbst-Rekonstruieren (Wiederherstellen) und schliesslich auf der Entdeckung dieses Bildes in sich selbst. das der Geber des Daseins veiehnet und gestaltet, beruhen Die Bewusstseinsrolle besteht in der „Abspiegelung” dieses Bildes in seinem eigenen Spiegel und in seiner gleichsam wiederholten Aneignung des menschlichen leh durch das erkennbare Ich, also auf „Hervorhebung des Subjektiven" eben dieses BiIdes Das gesehieht mcht ohne Schöpfertum des Bewusstseins Das hat jedoch nichts mit Schöpfung gemein Das ist kem Bereich der Kunst, sondern der Erkenntnis und ihrer Kriterien Infolgedessen bleibt das Bewusstseinsbild das lch zu dem sachlichen Bild, das das Ich ist, als zu seinem sachlichen Kriterium wesentlich bezogen Das sachliche Kriterium der Selbsterkenntnis bildet nachher ein saehliches Kriterium der Liebe. Bben das lässt die Taten, mit denen der Mensch authentische Liebe verwirklicht. von den Taten, die ausschließlich dank der guten Absicht der handelnden Person, aber auch nur infolge ihres Irrtums - also wenigstens infolge der Wahrheitsvermutung - noch Liebe genannt werden künnen. untersehciden.Der Schlüssel also zur für die Ethik grundsätzlich wichtigen Wahrheit über den Mensvhen befindet sich in der Tatsache der Zufälligkeit des Menschen, seiner Affirmation und vollen Exploidierung seines Inhalts in Rahmen dei Theorie vom Menschen, in der Anthropologie Darin ist sehon ein methodologischer Hinweis dessen enthalten, was für eine Anthropologie das sem muss und für welche Ethik vor allem sie optieren muss.Um ihre Hauptaufgabe, welche die Sieherung der Würde der menschlichen Person ist, auszuüben, muss die Ethik einerseits die notwendigen Bedingungen des Auftauchens und Daseins des Menschen und andererseits die Elemente, die auf notwendige Weise seine Daseinsidentitat bzw seine ontisch-axiologische Struktur bezeiehnen, kennenlernen Das Erkennen dieser beiden Tatsachen allein ermoglicht der Ethik, ein normatives Minimum zu formulieren, das man absolut nicht unterschreiten dart, insofern die vom Menschen zum Mensehen mit der Absicht des Affirmierens seiner für ihn selbst gerichtete Tat in Wirklichkeit - und nicht nur zum Schein - ein Affirmationsakt des Mensehen bleiben soll Nur eine solche Erkenntnis ist imstande, der Ethik eine Garantichinweisung zu ermöglichen, die eine Becintrachtigung der Würde der menschlichen Person und sogar Gottes mit Bezugnahme auf den Personalismus ausschliesst und die Ethik vor ihrer Entartung in Antihumanismus und in Antitheismus schutzt.Ob - und wie sehr - ist eine solche Menschenerkenntnis und erne solche Anthropologie möglich? Diesen Standpunkt beanspruchen zwei wissenschaftliche philosophische Disziplinen oder zwei Zweige im klassischen Verstehen der Philosophie als Erkenntnis, die sich in absolut wichtigen Sachbehauptungen ausdrücken Das sind die Meiaphysik des Menschen sowie die „realistische Phänomenologie" des Menschen Die erste Lehre untersucht den Menschen vom Gesichtspunkt der Zufälligkeit seines Daseins, die andere dagegen bemüht sich, die Inhaltselemente für die Identität des menschlichen Phänomens zu bestimmen In Anlehnung an diese beiden Disziplinen ist die Ethik imstande - als Philosophie des sittliehen Sollens - absolut gültige ausführliche Tätigkeitsnormen zu formulieren Das sind übrigens absolut gültige Normen nicht nur in der streng philosophisch-methodologischen (oder meta-philosophischen) Bedeutung, d.h im Sinn der Sachbehauptungen (nur der unformalen!), die Ausnahmemöglichkeiten ausschliessen, sondern auch im Sinn ihrer hauptsächlichen Lebenswichtigkeit. Indem sie ein sittliches Minimum für die zwischenmenschliche Aktivität absteckt, nehmen sie die Würde und Identität des Menschen wahr und bezeichnen damit die unübertragbare Basis, auf der erst lrgendeine authentische Entwieklung möglich ist Diese Normen eben bilden für ihn einen unersetzlichen „Test der Wahrheit”.Im Gegensatz zu der philosophischen Anthropologie, die ein transsubjektives Mass der Wahrheit des Selbstverständnisses anerkennt, ist die Anthropologie, nach deren Lehre die menschliche Natur ein Korrelat des Selbstverständnisses des einzelnen oder der Gruppe ist, in Theorie und Praxis eine Beseitigung der Moglichkeiten und des Bedürfmsses irgendeiner vveite ten Rechtskraft oder Prüfung der einzelnen Selbstverständnisse Dadurch bahnen sie der Ethik einen Weg zum unkontrollierten, von allen bisherigen am meisten aggressiven und gefährhehen sittlichen Relativismus (Nihilismus), weil er in der Verkleidung und unter der Beschirmung des Personalismus hervortritt.
