SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Journals and Series
Journals and series covered in PRI should regularly publish material in philosophy or relevant material in related disciplines, e.g. applied ethics, religious studies, and classics. To make an initial determination we will need to review several sample copies (in print or electronic format). We will also need the following information about each publication:
Title and subtitle
ISSN
eISSN
Publisher
Languages of publication
Sponsor (society or association)
Year established (and ceased if applicable)
Frequency of publication
Formats (print, online, other)
Peer-reviewed (yes, no)
Current editor(s):
Editorial email address
Journal URL
For continuing coverage we may require a complimentary subscription in print or electronic format. If a journal is accepted for coverage will will want to cover all articles, reviews, or other scholarly material ever published in the journal. By requesting coverage in PRI a journal or publisher agrees that Philosophy Documentation Center has permission to include all abstracts and relevant bibliographic data for each item.
Monographs and Other Documents
We welcome coverage of all books in philosophy, including new titles and out-of-print works. Publishers or spnsoring organizations should provide the folloinwg information for each title

Information for Publishers
We can accept data feeds in ONIX, MARC, or proprietary formats. Data currently used for distributors or other databases is generally acceptable. Some publishers send us print copies of their publications. We will work with you to find the most manageable solution.

We cover materials in any western language. We can also provide coverage of materials in non-western langauges, depending on the data source.
Adding Listing Online
Individual users with access to PRI can submit content to the database online. Authorized users can browse the content of the database for gaps in our coverage, and add data though the online submission form on the site.
